This is how it happened... We went to San Antonio, last minute, on a mini getaway, since we weren't able to really get away for Spring Break. So we get there, and Jesse is very persisten about going to dinner at a nice restaurant. So there I go, searching the internet. We make reservations at the Chart House restaurant, at The Tower of the Americas. It was a really nice restaurant, that revolved, so you were able to see the whole city of San Antonio. It was beautiful! So we ordered a bottle of wine, and enjoyed our dinner.
Later that night, we wanted to go to a nice club, called Club Cohiba. I knew it was somewher on the riverwalk, but didn't know where? So we parked and started walking the riverwalk, in my 3 inch heels! After we practically walked the whole thing, my feet were killing me. We never found the club, and we started heading back to the truck. Jesse decided we should stop and take a breather, and just relax along one of the bridges on the riverwalk. So we did just that. We were sitting and just talking about all of the crazy things we've been through in our relationship. I noticed he started getting really serious. Then he said, "to be honest with you, I brought you here because..." and he pulled out the ring... and asked if I would marry him. I immediately started crying, because it was so unexpected! Of course I said yes! He put this pretty little ring on my finger...
Here's some more pictures from that night. The restaurant we went to, and a picture of the newly engaged couple :)

This blog...
My main reason for creating this blog is to be able to keep all of the memories through out the planning of our wedding. For a while now, I've been wanting to get engaged, and now that it's really happening, I want to cherish every moment of it. I couldn't be any more excited, and I love it! Even though planning of the "wedding" will not start until the end of this year, I want to make sure I capture everything about the making of our special day :) I say that, but I've been browsing the web already, for wedding stuff. I just can't help it!!
