Cake Toppers

When I saw these cake toppers on {casando ideias}, I thought they were so cute. Now I won't say that I would use them for our wedding, but I love all of the details the toppers have. From the color of the hair, embelishments, and the details of the dresses of the bride cake toppers, they're just so precious.

And to make things even better, etsy seller, Goody Devi, takes custom orders! Can you imagine, you could pick the exact details for your cake topper...

is uhhhmazing! Just look at the details, the romance it exudes, ahh pure loveliness! I'm sure its ridiculously expensive, but a girl can dream, right!

It even turns in to a mini...

Mismatched

I like the whole idea of having mismatched bridesmaids. Now, I'm not saying I want them wearing whatever they want, of course the look should tie together by color, but I would love for my bridesmaids to feel comfortable in what they're wearing. The bridesmaids you choose are the closest friends you have, and they should feel comfortable and beautiful on the day.. therefore I like the idea of having them pick their own dresses, whatever they like, whatever they feel confident in, rather than have them wear something they don't like.

Here are some beautiful bridesmaids, in their own style, confident, comfortable, just plain ol' beautiful!

Lovely Song

Loving the words to this song, just lovely...

Royal Wood - I'm so Glad

We are on our way
It might be a hard way
But as long as I'm with you
Yes we are on our way
And it may be in harm's way
But as long as I'm with you
At the end of a long, long day
There is not much more to say then, love
I'm so glad I met you
We may feel like folding
But as long as love is holding
The hands of me and you
The waves can be raging
For together we'll be aging
And as long as I'm with you
At the end of a long, long day
There is not much more to say then, love
I'm so glad I met you
So winds may be blowing
For surely we'll be knowing
That as long as I'm with you
At the end of a long, long day
There is not much more to say
Yes at the end of a long, long day
There is not much more to say then love
I'm so glad I met you

Oh so pretty Calligraphy!

Lately I've been loving more and more the idea of calligraphy for our wedding invitations.. No, this doesn't mean we are working on them, ha, I'm just getting ideas. I love the look of handwritten calligraphy, how beautiful and whimsical it looks, it calls out "wedding."

Maybe we could get a template for the invitations and get the invites printed here, kind of like this bride did.

We'll just have to see if the calligraphy will fit in to the budget we haven't really determined, ha. Hopefully everything falls in to place, and I'm able to get everything I desire.

School's out!

I am officially done with school! I walk in December, yippe! I'm so relieved that this Summer semester wizzed by so fast. I'm a bit nervous, because what am I to do with my time now? I guess I could take up some new hobbies, eh... working out would be a good one, ha! For sure, I need to get in tip top shape for the nuptuals, thankfully I have about two years to accomplish my goals.

In keeping with the school theme... check out this creative themed wedding via Martha Stewart Weddings... how cool is this:

The couple were elementary school classmates, how cute.

They drew my name!

So, remember how a couple of weeks ago, J and I went to the Bridal Extravaganza... well I happened to put my name in several drawings, of course, just to participate in the hoopla of the bridal show. Of the many booths we visisted while there, we stopped at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio booth to inquire, because I definitely want to take a couple of dance lessons, so that we can take our first step in harmony!! So, Fred Astaire Dance Studio's drew my name!! Yay. I get a free private lesson, AND a free group lesson, how cool is that!? I am definitely going to take advantage of this opportunity to learn a few dance moves, can't wait. Check out their site, they even have online dance lessons, and you can choose from a variety of dances to learn.

Some lovely first dance photos, for your viewing pleasure.
