Happy Bday babe!

Well actually J's birthday was yesterday, but since yesterday was a day of relaxation (hehe) I decided to wait till today to post some pictures.

Yesterday was a great day. I decided to take the day off from work to spend with my honey. I figured with school and all, if I had gone to work and then school, I wasn't going to be able to spend time with him for his birthday. Thank goodness I did, we had a great time. We went to the movies, the mall, hung out, went to eat, and had some birthday cake.

Yesterday, I realized that he makes me so happy. I can't imagine spending my life with anyone else but him. Aw I love him tons. At the end of the day, it's just the two of us, and I love that. Little moments like that, when it's just us and our little crazy Pookie, those moments make everything worth while.

Check out his super cute icecream cake :) I thought it was so cute, yet so small, but it was perfect for the two of us...

All in all, it was a great day. I wish we had more days like this, days were work could be put aside, and we could have fun!

Only July and some of August are left for school. Man, am I excited! I know it sounds kinda weird, but I want Summer to be over with already... just because I want Summer school to be over with! Thankfully, I'm doing great in my classes.

Father's Day is coming up. Time for some good family time! I love spending time with the fam, especially chit chatting with my sissies and mom.. we always find something to talk about. I need to think about what I'm going to get dad. Hmmm.

One Year!

This month marks the one year anniversary since me and hubby-to-be purchased, and moved in to our home. Wow, how time flies! Just to think of everything we've accomplished in this one year, it amazes me, I'm so happy for the both of us. Over the course of a year, we put our personal touches to the house, and really made it ours. And with the latest addition of our dog, Pookie, it made it all just that much better. Friends and family have made our house a home, and I'm so thankful for that.

So today, I say happy anniversary to us and our home! I know this anniversary just marks the beginning to many more anniversaries to come. I'm excited for what the future brings for us, very excited.

On another note, school starts today, so may not be blogging for a while, not that I do it so often, ha. These are my last two semesters, so I really need to get focused. I'm so happy that this year will mean no more school, but am a bit nervous as of what is to come. But I know that in time, everything will fall in to place, career-wise. This is going to be a good year, I can feel it!
